2019 should still be under warranty. Sounds like something is messed up with the ecm and without diagnostics it will be hard to figure out the problem. Does the bike sit out in the weather? Have you verified voltages at the battery when it is connected in the bike?

With that trailer, as long as you get the front wheel secured in the chock and get some straps on it to keep it tight, then putting some straps on the bars or somewhere on the fork, I doubt it will move. I know that when we brought mine home, we did not put that much tension on either side...

I think that is normal. I turned the key on last night on mine just to check and it lit red for a fraction of a second and then went out. If it was staying lit up red then you have a problem.

This is how we brought the bike home. Sales guy used the hook end by creating a loop and wrapping it around each grip. Other end of the strap was secured to a D ring. Rear wheel had the strap go through and tie off to D rings on either side. Front tire was pretty much locked in by the roll...

Light number 2, the general warning light can light as yellow or red. Not too many of the lights come on red as that usually means something serious is going on.

This is the dash with all the applicable lights: This is the LCD display. Can you point out which light you are seeing? There is also an anti theft light that probably flashes momentarily or if the battery is low. Not sure how many bikes have this feature, I know mine doesnt.

Did the tech tell you it was the valves tapping when you last brought it in? What specifically are you referring to with "lagging"? Is that some time of hesitation or does it feel like the engine is missing or misfiring? In pre covid times you might have taken a bit of a beating on selling...

You would be better off having them painted or wrapped. C650 is a discontinued model so parts will be harder and harder to come by and whatever you find will not be cheap.
