    Balance

Check out this article for some ideas: https://motorcyclehabit.com/why-does-my-motorcycle-pull-to-one-side/#:~:text=A%20motorcycle%20may%20pull%20to,as%20an%20unbalanced%20front%20tire. If the bike rides fine when you do keep your hands on the bar and there is no unusual wear on the tires...

    Hand brake starting issue.

Finally found the diagram. It's part number 8. MSRP is 81 bucks. Ouch. You would have to take the handlebar cover off to access it. MICROSWITCH FOR HANDBRAKE LEVER 61318530971

    Hand brake starting issue.

I looked at my bike and looked online, but its hard to see what the part looks like. BMW tends to use the same parts on many different models and I saw some that looked like a fairly standard microswitch with leads coming off. My guess would be that you would have to remove the plastic cover...

    Hand brake starting issue.

Switch not making contact on the left side? Can you play with the wires going into the brake or see if moving the wires allows them to come on? Just trying to determine if it is a loose connection or an actual break in the circut.

    $1300 for 12k service - 2016 C650GT

If you want a bike that you can ride without that much thought about service, then I would look at a Honda. In the scooter realm there are Silverwings and Forza's. Smaller would be a pcx 150 or the new adv 150. In standard bikes, look for anything with a dct transmission if you dont want a...

    $1300 for 12k service - 2016 C650GT

I think quite a few folks on this board would look at doing most of the maintenance themselves. Looking at what is required for the 12K service the big items are: Oil Change Brake fluid flush New air filter Check or replace cvt belt Check sag for chain The last two may not really be necessary...

    Jeepers Creepers ....

I had one try that just this weekend. My feeble little horn seemed to do the trick warning him off. But you always have to assume they mean to take you out, so having a hand covering the brake is always a good practice to have.

C650GT - preload spring adjustment clearance

Manual says on the centerstand and use the tool that came with the bike. Mine is already set on the lowest setting so I havent had the pleasure of fiddling with it.

    NEW 2021 BMW Rumors

Most c650's are sold with the highline package, so its pretty much a non optional upgrade. But it is a nice upgrade features wise.

First oil change on my C650GT

2019 is the same year as mine. Shouldnt have any issues for a while.

First oil change on my C650GT

I didn't catch what year your bike is, but the earlier models were a bit different in that they used a round data port instead of a standard ODB2 connector. Not a big deal as you can get the adapter off Amazon for less than 20 bucks. My R12RT used the round port and this same setup worked with...

    Replacing CVT air filters

The twin 650 engines are. Then shipped to Berlin to be installed. The c400 is completely Chinese built. And from what I have read, they have more than their fair share of issues.

So has the bike been sitting all this time waiting for parts?

    Replacing CVT air filters

Good post. As for an air compressor, the little pancake units from HF aren't bad for the bucks and would do a lot better for blowing out dirt and dust and filling tires too. This one is 40 bucks.

Here is a link to an article on advrider: https://advrider.com/aftermarket-r1200gs-tpms-rdc-sensor-replacement/ its for a r1200gs but as most people familiar with BMW, they always reuse the same hardware across all their lines. Das Frugal Germans... Looks like there are a few videos on...
