    Larger windscreen for C650GT

I am 6 feet and I have the Givi. At the middle position the air is very smooth but you do get some helmet noise but still quieter than stock, at the full up position its really quiet but you do get a tiny bit of buffeting around the shoulder area. All in all much better than the stock unit. The...

Prepping for a Long Distance Ride

I'm heading out at the end of this month on a 1800 mile round trip from NH to NC. This is my list of stuff to bring that I have so far... Other than the stuff on the list I think the most important thing to help reduce fatigue would be a throttle lock of some sort. When I ride for a couple of...

    My new aprakravic muffler

Hmmm, that's interesting. I may have my local exhaust shop just fab up a small tip right on the end of the cat outlet. (To point it out the back so as not to get water in) just eliminate the muffler all together. I'd rather save the weight if the sound is the same. plus I like the look of...

Anyone have an Akrapovic baffle they pulled out of their muffler they want to sell?

Lol, that's a good one :) After riding around with the header for a week, they just aren't for me. I'm going back to the stock cat and Akra muffler. I should have just left it the way it was, oh well...

Just installed the Arrow collector (straight pipes) videos inside

I just finished doing mine (Header and Akro muffler) and it's way too loud for me. Especially on the highway. Now I need to figure out whats more restrictive, the Cat or the Muffler. Tonight I'm going to put the stock muffler back on and see how that sounds. I want a little extra noise and...

Just installed the Arrow collector (straight pipes) videos inside

As fast as possible :) I don't need to go faster than 110, But yes, I want faster acceleration. The CVT actually makes it feel faster that some bikes because you are almost always sitting at or near peak torque. I test drove a 2008 BMW R1200RT (110hp/88tq) and it just felt downright sluggish...

Just installed the Arrow collector (straight pipes) videos inside

For me, I am chasing performance. This scooter isn't fast enough for me. Yeah, it gets louder and yeah I hate it louder. I wish there was some middle ground when it could be a little louder than stock. It always seems like with motorcycle exhausts the aftermarket companies just make baffles...

DON"T LET THEM UPDATE the COMPUTER!

So when you get this over temp warning how do you clear it to "ride slower" ? I don't often ride over 87mph, but it certainly does happen and I go in next week for the ECU and sidestand recalls.

Anyone have an Akrapovic baffle they pulled out of their muffler they want to sell?

I did the header pipe today and it might be too loud for my liking, Last year I took the baffle out of the akrapovic muffler, It got pretty banged up taking it out so I just tossed it. Wish I had kept it now. Anyone have one they want to sell me?

Just installed the Arrow collector (straight pipes) videos inside

Just to add some info to the thread, I weighed all the exhaust stuff. The Header pipe is 3.66 lbs and the stock cat setup is 15.66 lbs. 12 lbs saving, and another 3.3 lbs saved from the muffler (Akrapovic). Just over 15 lbs saved for the whole system.

In the last video do you have the baffle in the muffler removed?

    Exhaust Mod?

I will disagree with some of this.. The engineers are way smarter than me, yes. However they have to design things while paying attention to emissions, noise and other regulations. Once you start adding parts on your own you can make things better most of the time without having to worry about...

    Exhaust Mod?

Just wanted to see if Doraemon had any updates on gas mileage? I had a bike that I added a power commander to, the place that dyno tuned it for me also removed the 02 sensor. The downside was the gas mileage dropped about 10mpg. That's not something I would want ;)

    Top box suggestions

I bought the Shad 45 topbox and rack. I think its was under $250. Great deal for a pretty large box. EDIT, Here's some links for ya, this was the most economical box that fit 2 helmets...

BEST bang for your BUCK...Dr. Pulley Sliders for your variator

700cc in the 90HP range. yup, i'd buy that for a dollar.. My only complaint with the C600 is the lack of power/torque. If this thing has good storage and power im in... I choose the C600 over the SRV850 because the C600 has way more storage and way more features. I've had several bikes in the...

BEST bang for your BUCK...Dr. Pulley Sliders for your variator

I wouldn't bother with the 30 gram ones. If better acceleration is what your after the lighter the better. The heavier ones don't make you lose as much top speed, but that's not what most of us are after since the top speed in this thing is good. After installing the 28 gram ones the difference...
