Akrapovic Muffler baffle, how the heck?
I installed the muffler last night. But now I want to remove the baffle to see how much louder it might be, problem is I should have done that before hand as I can't see what type of screw is behind the rubber cap as it faces the tire.
Does anyone who...
Its probably a 10 minute job by looking at the install instruction on Akrapovics website. slightly longer for the 650GT as there are a few more screws to remove.
The Givi windshield is available for the C600 and it also comes with 2 smaller side deflectors. Its on http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/givi-d5105st-windscreen-bmw-c600-sport-2012-2013
I wonder if the aftermarket windshields help in the wind buffeting department. I think I am going to get the Givi one as it also comes with the 2 little side deflectors as well. omniphil = 6 feet tall and is looking for the Cone of Silence as well...
Was that 3hp with the Akrapovic baffle installed?
I'm looking at the gains on Akrapovic's website and wondering if the advertised gains are with the baffle installed or not.
For you folks with the Akrapovic and the stock cat, is it much louder without the baffle installed?
I don't want the...
How do you measure the dipstick? Do you screw it all the way in and back out, or do you just insert it without screwing in it? I was always curious which was the correct way?
The final drive chain is in an oil bath so if we remove the side cover I assume a bunch of oil of coming splashing out too?
Could the Chainset at 40,000 be the cam chain?
Now what we need is a cost for the CVT Belt and the final drive Chain.
Hmmm, I like the brake reservoir idea. They usually just have a ball on the end, so presumably I'd need something that converts the ball to the TomTom built in mount.
I have a regular car TomTom GPS that would be nice to throw on the scooter for trips. We don't have easily accessible handlebars for handlebar mounts. So I was wondering about just using the suction cup mount built into the GPS unit itself. You think that would work well on the bike windshield...
I too was looking for one bike to do it all. I had a few sport bikes and then got a scooter (Blur SS220i) I noticed the scooter was quite a bit of fun. Fast forward to today. No sport bikes and only the C600. It made the most horsepower and was lighter than the other maxi scooters. Plus the...
I looked at it, there is a pitiful amount of storage for a scooter, it is also pretty heavy and there isn't that much more torque. I expected alot more torque for an engine with almost 200 more cc's. It is fast, but you have to give up alot. The bmw offered almost a much performance with a ton...
Oh damn. That's not good. The final drive one needs changing every 12,500 miles or so, but the one in the engine shouldn't fail. Ouch...
Do you do alot of sustained high speed riding?
