Its probably a 10 minute job by looking at the install instruction on Akrapovics website. slightly longer for the 650GT as there are a few more screws to remove.

How do you measure the dipstick? Do you screw it all the way in and back out, or do you just insert it without screwing in it? I was always curious which was the correct way?

The final drive chain is in an oil bath so if we remove the side cover I assume a bunch of oil of coming splashing out too? Could the Chainset at 40,000 be the cam chain? Now what we need is a cost for the CVT Belt and the final drive Chain.

Hmmm, I like the brake reservoir idea. They usually just have a ball on the end, so presumably I'd need something that converts the ball to the TomTom built in mount.

The 12500 mile service calls for the Cvt belt and the final drive chain to be replaced. At least that was the bmw document I saw on webbikeworld

Oh damn. That's not good. The final drive one needs changing every 12,500 miles or so, but the one in the engine shouldn't fail. Ouch... Do you do alot of sustained high speed riding?
