Sorry for the delayed reply! One or both of the front rotors warped badly enough to have significant vibrations when applying the break at speed. I assume it was only one rotor, but under warranty, BMW replaced them both. The bike went to its new home today! Now...time for me to find my next...

I don’t believe the bike comes with this, but wiring a harness right off the battery would be very easy, and some tenders even come with the wiring harness...

Speaking for myself, I don’t have the ability to accurately time this, in a safe way. I don’t have access to a track or timer. It’s a 615 pound cycle making only 44 hp or so at the rear wheel, so I’d expect the numbers to be very slow. Most of us don’t by a scooter for its acceleration.

Mine also occasionally lurches when going slowly, though I think mine does it between 20-30mph. I try and hold the throttle perfectly steady, but it lurches again and again. Then the symptom goes away for a month. I’ve not been able to solve it nor narrow down when it happens! But my BMW...

BMW says they looked and found no condensation, and the seals all appear to be fine, but they documented it Incase of future problems. I agree that it’s not good. :-(

Thanks for your input. The bike is already at the shop to have Both front rotors replaced under warranty, so I sent them these pics. They says it’s not correct, and they would check the seals. They agreed that it would lead to shorter lightbulb life from possibility of corrosion. I’ll let you...

While riding in cooler temperatures, water builds up in a few areas inside the plastic shield where my headlights are on my 2016 C650GT. The moisture covers maybe 5 or 6 square inches, but doesn’t obstruct my view much. The bike is under warranty, but I wanted to see if this moisture is normal...

Thanks for the suggestions - I believe I got a really good deal! Turns out there was a typo and the bike has 2,666 miles, but with all else checking out, I bought it. It was sold and serviced at the same dealership where it's selling now by a guy in his 60s (adult driven). Not a scratch on it...
