Replacing Brake Pads -- Crazy Simple

Really? So you let it wear down till it's metal to metal and no brakes?

Don't forget to return the plates. #2 in the diagram. I had to replace mine after 6200kms. Traffic in this country is horrendous.

    C600 Body Guard

That's my primary reason for looking for a body guard. To mount lights and if it offers some form of protection, why not?

    C600 Body Guard

For lack of a better name, I will call it body guard. Does anyone know who makes this? Is there a version for the C600 Sport? Am keen to get this for the added protection plus a great place to install aux lights.

    Dr. Pulley, any updates?

I have reinstalled the stock transmission but used the Dr Pulley rollers. So far after 2000kms, am still good. Before that, I had the Dr Pulley CVT. Spring just kept desintegrating on me. 3X. Got fed up with it and went back to stock. So far so good.

    Headlight burned out?

Hi Jaime. Trying to do my first bulb replacement. Do you actually just pull the connector out? No need to open the cover of that plug?

    Dr Pulley Clutch Springs Broke

Got my bike back last night. Mechanic put the stock clutch back but used the Dr Pulley rollers. Bike feels like a different bike. No more of this growling out of the gate acceleration. Smoother more calm. There was damage to the Dr Pulley clutch. Will post pics when I get home tonight...

    Dr Pulley Clutch Springs Broke

Update: 400 kms later, the spring broke again. I hope no internal damage like belt or clutch bell or worse, the spring bits getting into the cylinders. My mechanic suggests going back to stock until Dr Pulley can sort this out.

    Dr Pulley Clutch Springs Broke

No snow dog. 2X in 3100 kms? That's too often. Springs replaced were from the same set that came with the clutch.

    Dr Pulley Clutch Springs Broke

I've had the clutch and rollers replaced with Dr Pulleys. After 3100 kilomdters I have had to replace 1 or 2 springs twice. The springs break. Anyone else had issues like these? If it breaks a 3rd time, I will revert to my stock clutch but using the Dr Pulley rollers.

Do you always wear your helmet?

It is required by law in the Philippines. But many don't. I always wear one. Open face for urban rides and full face in highways.

    Mileage problem

Happy new year everyone! It's 82 out here. Cloudy skies with a slight chance of rain. I promise to put more miles on my scoot in 2015. Not just to go to work in but to see the countryside.

    Stupid Clutch Question

Enjoy the bike. Wear out the (stock) clutch. Upgrade to Dr Pulley. Repeat cycle.

    Timing chain tensioner recall done

Had mine done over the weekend. I felt the bike was a little bit more responsive. No scientific reason, just felt it. Just happy BMW's recall happened in the Philippines.
