BMW does have a shorter seat. I believe it lowers the sitting area down 2 inches but not sure on that. Could be more or less. There is an option is my point if the seat is a bit too tall. I too have a 32 inch seam and i can flat foot one side and just almost flat foot the other side...heal...

I believe that if you have the VIN you can call BMW to find out if all recalls were taken care of or what may be outstanding.

If the battery dropped a cell or 2 and you have just small alligator clips attached to an external battery I don not believe you can pass enough volts to get things going. Try a fresh battery first.

Water pump? I had an old truck that would do this. Everything checked out fine and water pump worked perfectly at lower rpm but higher speed run the pump couldn't handle the load placed on it and engine would heat up to unsafe levels. New pump cured it. Other thought is air in cooling...

The OP does not appear to have been back since posting. Have you tried some of the above...cleaning radiator...fuse check...fan check? I have not had the issue but this is where I would start.

So I ended up just doing the fluid change the old fashioned way. Nothing special. Got good brake feel from front and rear. Decided then to go through the procedure on the motoscan tool running the abs pump and whatnot. Feel was exactly the same after so for future I would just do it the old...

Wondering if there is any special equipment required to bleed the brakes because of the ABS system. I have seen videos on line some say it doesn't matter just do it the old fashioned way and you will be fine. Other videos indicate you have to do an extra step of bleeding the ABS unit. Anyone...

It is a fluke meter no idea what model as it is not in front of me. Like I said can't read current or measure voltage that way but lets me know when the circuit is turned on/off....Looking for a switched circuit.

I do. Won't read current but it reads voltage on or off without taking wires apart at connectors. Happen to be an electrician...

Got the Skene lights installed this past week. The installation is straight forward. Toughest part was fishing the alert wire for the front lights to the rear brake light. So much plastic parts to take off..o_O They are very bright and from scooting around I suspect many drivers perk up...

Moe...Thank you for posting what you have. Fairly pathetic that BMW doesn't appear to have a real wiring diagram. I got my lights installed anyhow. Just fished around with my inductive multimeter. After dinking around in there this weekend I could probably do a better wire diagram. :rolleyes:

Looking also. Have the service manual and no wiring diagram in it other than general locations of looms and relays. Never had a service manual for any vehicle that didn't have a wire diagram. Looking to add lights and don't treasure the idea of just guessing...

Is the key on a 2014 C650GT a transponder type key? I have varying info all over the place on the topic and can't seem to get definitive info. The key I have that works now is very small...doesn't seem like a transponder would fit in it. TIA
