I have no idea really how the quality or effectiveness of the various aftermarket oil filters compare. What I do know is that BMW OEM oil filters have been made by Mahle in the past and that's the only reason I look for those.

I do know, from owning previous Beemers, that Mahle does make filters for BMW. Now, whether or not they make all of the BMW oil filters I really don't know. The remaining question is whether it makes any sense to buy this one from Wunderlich, or another supplier, rather than buying the OEM one...

After doing some searching, I'm wondering if the Mahle OC306 oil filter fits the C400GT. Can anyone confirm this?
