    Handguards for the winter?

Between heated hand grips and gloves I don't see a reason for the hand guards. On my Burgman 650 it would be more hand as I don't have heated grips. On the C 650 GT the grips will keep your hands warm with good glove down to very cold temperatures and I won't ride without high quality gloves...

    20k service on Tuesday.

I also had the fun of using an air mile ticket to fly from Chicago to Long Beach, CA. then to ride the bike home to Chicago by way of San Diego, Las Vegas, Utah, and Colorado. While that cost me a little wear and tear, gasoline and hotels (except in San Diego and Las Vegas where I have friends...

    20k service on Tuesday.

I think you're right, but as an owner of one of the scooters I want the people that work on it to know what they're doing. Also, I think there are major differences from one dealer to another in their approach, customer service and greed. For what it's worth I got the feeling that the...

    Miles after fuel light?

Remember it's not just issues with your gauge. When you fill the bike after you've ridden down to near empty, you don't know whether you really got it to hold the entire 4.2 gallons. If you put 3.85 gallons in and there's an air bubble the bike might have been down to fumes before the gas...

    20k service on Tuesday.

I had my 12,000 mile maintenance done about ten days ago. I bought the C 650 GT used with 4,500 miles on it, but the dealer had done the 6,000 mile maintenance as part of the deal for buying it. That was Long Beach BMW in California. About a month ago I needed to replace tires due to picking...

    Compliments Thread

There's always going to be an idiot that sticks their nose up. For years I've owned multiple bikes and one or more of them has been a Maxi-Scooter, now I have a C 650, Burgman 650 and an FJR 1300. The FJR has always been the fastest, especially for going in straight lines. The scooters just...

    Sargent Seats

I have the same problem with the seat. With the backrest on it's to short, and with the backrest off it would be perfect except for that mounting piece. I've had several thoughts, but have implemented none of them. One was going to a local seat custom shop and having them make a piece to...

Prepping for a Long Distance Ride

Thanks for the "thanks". I just forgot to mention the adapter for the 12v socket and cables to charge electronics, I also have a small battery that will charge my I phone and Galaxy Tab. Perhaps it's just me, yet I am a fairly capable person with computers, but I find that GPS doesn't replace...

Prepping for a Long Distance Ride

I've taken many cross country trips on maxi-scooters and motorcycles. I just bough my 2013 C 650 GT in Long Beach, California and rode it to San Diego then cross country through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois to Chicago. IMHO, things you need for a cross country ride...
