Battery life span.

Hello everyone here a subject that I wrote before I think, anyway here we go, the battery of our CE04 have a warranty of 5 years meaning that with the 5 years our battery will not drop below 70% within 40.000 kms if so they will change the battery. To know the life span of the battery in the menu at the end in the Info page there is suppose to have this info.
On mine it's not there, I have check with other unit at my dealer same thing. But in the manual there is a description of this info. So recently I was in Paris and I when to a dealer to see there units, and of course they do have the infos. So here two images of the menu in French, anyone in North America can you check your to see if you have the info in the menu.

It depends on the firmware. AFAIK it's only in the newest 15- firmware.
Mine's still on the 12- firmware and doesn't have it, either.

Hi I have the latest version, but even in the old version it was no where to be found.
I suspect that for the North American version they decided not to show it for whatever reasons. Even the head mechanic at the dealer doesn’t know why it’s not showing. Except if they decided they don’t want to validate our battery warranty.

Hello everyones.
So I have some answers from BMW Motorrad Canada, I ask the warranty department about battery warranty and they toll me that in North America we get three years and not five like in Europe. So probably it's to try to sell us extended warranty when we buy our unit. When they try to sell me the extended warranty I ask tell if they believe they sell great quality or not so good... Anyway this is why probably that we don't get the life span Info of the battery in the info section.
