Apart from Wunderlich option there is Aliexpress option with quite nice looking engine / frame guards.
Unfortunately, at least in my case, they came without any instructions. The installation is probably straight forward, but if someone happens to have any pdf or thread with instructions, is more than welcome.

If your engine guards from Aliexpress are similar to those offered by Wunderlich (https://www.wunderlichamerica.com/wunderlich-system-protection-bar.html), then perhaps the instructions for the Wunderlich product could be useful to you. If your guards are NOT similar to Wunderlich's, perhaps you can provide us a link to what you purchased, so we could take a look at them, and perhaps someone will then get an idea of what's involved in mounting them.

Didn’t cross my mind to check Wunderlich’s site.

Any opinions you can share about the Chinese versions of the BMW C400GT crash bars from AliExpress? Did you have to modify to fit? Paint quality? Do you regret buying or would you have preferred to spend the extra $$$ to buy the Wunderlich bars?

I am considering but not particularly interested purchasing the Wunderlich one because of price.

Just curious if you’ve had the chance to install?

I’m wondering if the foot pads are seated back on properly after the guard was installed.
