I'm pretty sure that those who know the MadStad brand will agree it is probably the most effective windscreen in the market today with excellent clarity, quietness, and adjustability. Anyhow, I just purchased one for a Honda that I own and have had them on other bikes too. I was speaking with the company to work out some very modest customization when I asked if a screen was in the works for the C400GT. I explained to them that the native screen is non adjustable and has overall poor performance. He responded that they will take it into consideration but they have a [business] process to decide what bikes they will develop screens to be installed. If anyone agrees, why not drop them a line and ask if they'll consider it. I'm going to email them and ask how many pre-orders it would take to get them to design the screen and will be happy to lead that campaign. This bike, the C400GT, is the first bike I've ever owned that I have zero intention of selling. Installing a high quality, well performing, adjustable screen is something that I would really like to do; but nothing that meets all of those criteria is available.

Here is what I have sent to them.
Morning,

You might recall that when I ordered my last screen I asked about screen development for BMW's C400GT scooter. I know you have a solid process for choosing what bikes you'll develop systems for. But I have a question. If you were to do a digital mockup of the screen, and I was able to present on all of the social media channels, how many pre-orders/commitment to purchase would it take to develop the screen for this bike? Screens are probably the number one topic on all of the forums for this scooter and none of the biggies have hit the mark (Wunderlich has good reviews but not consistently). There are no adjustable screens available for this bike. I think there is a market that can be tapped. I'm here in Florida and you can have my bike to work on if you decide that this is a bike you would design for. Anyhow, thanks a million for considering and I hope all is well!

Mike

Okay, Mike, I did what you suggested, and just sent this on their web form:

I'm on my second BMW C 400 GT scooter now -- a '23, after owning a '22 model -- and would be pleased if you folks took a shot at making a windscreen for it. I settled on your adjustable screen for my '12 Victory Cross Country Tour, after vetoing its OEM screen, and after trying out one from KlockWerks, so I know that you folks do a superb job when you put your minds to it (see https://www.billanddot.com/victory-xct/#99 , for instance, for a pic of your screen on my Vic). I'm currently using a Wunderlich screen on the scooter, but, like the KlockWerks was on the Vic, it's good, but not great. That's all I have -- thanks for your time and, hopefully, consideration.

Thanks Bill! Great of you to do that!

I'm interested. I had an adjustable windshield on my Challenger. Thought it was kind of a gimick when I purchased the bike, however I used it all the time. Driving in the city on a hot day put it down and cool off your face. Put it up on the highway and stay protected from the wind, bugs and stones. So I am interested. I have no experiance with MadStad.

If you'd be interested in Madstad producing one, would you mind dropping them a line at one of the links I shared above?

Done. I left them a message that I would be interested in an adjustable wiendshield for the BMW C400gt.

Here is my reply.

Hi Michael,

Regrettably, we don't have any kind of wait list, but I know we won't have anything for yours anytime soon. At best, maybe try checking in annually.
