As I noted a couple of weeks ago (www.bmw-scooters.com/index.php?threads/new-c400gt-owner-albany-ny-area-may-2022.2460/) when I introduced myself, I had ordered a new C 400 GT. I took delivery of the bike two days ago, and thought some of you might be interested in the mods that I had ordered with the bike (and which the dealer installed) and some of the simple mods that I did myself after delivery.

So far, the mods include a new windscreen, protection bars, a throttle lock, and sidestand foot (oh, and Grip Puppies, of course). If you want to see pics of this, with the part names, I've now officially started my C 400 GT gallery on my web site. See:

Bill, how tall are you? Asking because i am wondering how that Wunderlich screen is working out.
It's working out fine.

I'm 5'9", with about a 29" inseam -- normalish proportions, I'd say (except somewhat overweight). Note that:

1) The Wunderlich is essentially the same height as the stocker, but wider (and, according to my wife, less buffeting for a passenger). The up-flip at the end isn't as dramatic as the stocker, but overall it does curve up, and seems to work about the same in terms of moving on-coming air up. See this gallery pic:

2) You can get an optional vent (which I did). This generally relieves back-pressure when open, and is also what I had -- in fact, I think via the same supplier -- on two Clearview windscreens on Burgman 650s.

So, yep, I'd get the Wunderlich again, if I had to get a new C 400 GT.
