Hi, all. Just picked up a '22 C400GT in Alpine White. So far, all I've done with it is ride it home. Hope to do more soon.

My noobie questions:
  1. Does anyone camp with their scooter?
  2. Does anyone do their own maintenance?
  3. Is anyone worried about theft when they are on the road, staying at a motel?
I'm sure I will have more later.
 
After my second one was stolen (both from my house) I got the factory alarm and a gps tracking unit installed. It notifies me every time it moves and can show location. Unless they have a key they will not be able to Hotwire it (chip in the key).
 
Welcome! Many of us here do our own maintenance, there is much info here on that ("search is your friend"). With respect to theft much depends on where you live. Here in Southern California, I do not worry about it, since very few people want to ride a scooter, or another motorcycle (the climate is awful and the traffic is always very light, so people much prefer their cars - haha. But seriously almost no bikes on the roads here).

I'm just over the horizon from you in South Orange County. Regarding theft, I'm not worried when it's at home since I will be keeping it in my garage. I'm more concerned when I travel and park it in front of a motel.
