Has anyone ever had a problem with the seat alignment. Mine keeps getting offset towards the side stand side making it a b....ch to close. Dealer has already set it once but before you know it its misaligned again. Due back in on the 7th now.

I don't understand how it moves then. I had a Silverwing for ten years, and the seat never shifted. My Sport seat hasn't moved either. Do you lean it against something?
Post a picture showing the misalignment.

I have the same problem and just have to make sure to push it slightly away from (when standing on the left) to engage the lock.

The hinge on mine broke today from pushing it to lock. Dealer thinks that it may have been slightly corroded in the first place and has ordered a replacement part.

Ouch! First time we've heard about that. I have ridden my GT without the seat locked and hugely overstuffed with stuff and did not experience a problem closing or locking the truck after the fact. Sounds like you got a bum part there, James. Weird because one-off bad parts are rare. Lucky you
