Are 2015 the same as 2016 ?

Are the 2015 and the 2016 basically the same scoot or was that like the older 2012 version ? I found a nice used 2015 with 1020 miles on it but want the latest version . Thanks for your help .

I owned a 2015 and now own a 2016. The changes in the 2016 over the 2015 are evolutionary but, IMO, substantial. Center stand effort is reduced substantially and issues with performance from a stop appear to be resolved. The performance issues with the 2015, I understand, are easily resolved with aftermarket parts that are not particularly expensive. I am not aware of a solution to the center stand effort issue on pre 2016 machines. For me, the reduction in center stand effort is dramatic and it seems, to me, that deploying the center stand is not much more difficult than on a _esp_.
