Clonk noise from rear wheel Ce04 2022

I've started hearing a clonking sound from the rear wheel when I pull on the throttle from stationary.

When driving away from a stationary position the rear wheel makes a clunking noise. The problem can easily be seen and heard in the videos below:

Normal behaviour without clonk-ing, usually after the motorcycle has been turned off for a while. In this scenario the wheel turns at full speed, no limitation, no clonk-ing.

Clonk-ing present after driving the motorcycle 1-2 minutes. In this scenario the wheel rotation is limited no matter how hard the throttle is turned, conk-in is present and a warning sign is present on the dashboard (lower right hand side). Clonk-ing is present during normal driving, not only when the bike is on center stand.

I am not sure when this issue appeared, because I usually wear earplugs and it is hard to notice. But my feeling is it started after the maintenance / software upgrade in May this year.

Does anyone else experience this?

Hello when you says maintenance the one after 1000 km or the 10,000km one.
I would try without the wheel to see if it's not one of the brake pads for stoping or the braking one who is off.
If not maybe the belt need to be adjust.
Something the dealer has to fix.
Wish you that is an easy fix.

I meant the 2 year maintenance. The bike only has 7500km on the clock.

A user on Facebook posted a video with identical behaviour of his own Ce04. I am now asking myself: could this be normal?

If anyone wants to test do this: ride the bike 2 minutes for ASC and ABS to sync. Then put the bike on center stand and pull throttle. You should get a clonk and limited wheel spin.

The limited wheel spin could be due to normal ASC operation. But the clonk? Not sure.
