Hi all,

I have search for this info on the forum but couldn't find anything. If this has been discussed - please point me towards that.
I have a 2019 C400GT (Analog display, no heated grips). I need heated grips installed. Has anyone done this ? How difficult is this and how different is it from doing the same on other bikes (done myself a few of them on non-BMW machines)?

Thinking about installing Oxford ones.

Many thanks !

Disclaimer:

I've never installed heated grips on a bike, but I've had some that came with them.

Possibly useful to you:

I've added some 12V switched-with-ignition accessories to my former and current C 400s, and you might find my discussion of their power sources helpful, in terms of powering whatever grips you wind up adding.

In one case, I tapped into the 12V lead, before it entered the cubby, powering the USB ports in the right cubby. I have pics/captions/links of this in my gallery, starting with this particular image: https://billanddot.com/C400GT/#S-21 .

In another case, I used the unused sat nav connector beneath the handlebar cover. That group of pics/captions/links, including a pic that shows the status of the connector's three wires, starts with this particular image: https://billanddot.com/C400GT/#S-81 .

Good luck with your project.
