Mine don't buffet. I run my windshield all the way up. I love the C600 and couldn't see myself on a GT.

Don't forget to look at the C600 sport. I got a white 2014 and love it! All personal preference but I hated the GT when I looked and found the sport and love it.

Buy a new one... They are not expensive. Why you want a Ghetto patched and rigged up BMW???? By the time you buy glue and spend a hour labor fixing it you could have paid for a new one.

black The best stuff I have found for the black stuff is Vinylex made by Lexol in the blue bottle. It is awesome! I use it for auto interiors and tires. Works great on the black plastic, just makes it look new but not shiney or greasy. You can get it on ebay or the high end car dealers sell it...

I think the bikes that have problems are really noisy when they start up from the loose timing chain slapping around. If yours runs smooth and quiet on a cold startup I think you are good.

Mine was a allen wrench, not a star. Pretty simple to go lay under it and look :-)

If it was built after March 2014 the timing chain tensioner is already corrected.

Just left the dealer with oil, filter and plastic pipe. It is correct, the front screen is for break in only. At 600 miles you pull the screen and replace it with a plastic tube. The rear screen stays and is serviced with oil changes.

After more digging the rear strainer needs cleaning. The front strainer needs to be replaced with this pipe. Where is the front strainer located? Has nobody done this when it needs to be done?
