409 mile day

A great ride through Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. From high speed interstates, curving two laners thru the piney hills of East Texas, and some graded dirt roads around a couple of lakes. The GT ran great and was smooth and comfortable. Temps were from low 70's to a breezy 31. I have never had the luxury of heated seat or grips but after firing it up a few times in the chilly hours I was grinning like a kid. The warm seat and grips were welcome and boosted my morale as well as my blood temperature. When I returned home I inspected this black beauty from top to bottom. No issues and it ran great though out the whole trip. What a great ride BMW has made with this 2016 GT.

I'm jealous, got to 58 f today in Illinois and got out for about 20 miles. Too much crap on the roads still

Mid-60s here in on the border...the northern border. Absolutely fantastic day for riding.

409 miles is a pretty good day, but did you know that a 2013 C650GT competed in the most recent Iron Butt Rally and covered 8,579 miles and 26 states in 11 days.

Wow! That's some riding! But it's a great bike no doubt. It truly is like a mini Goldwing. If riders took one for a test ride they will sell a lot more. We have found a hidden gem in the biking world.

I arrived on my GT via four different models of Goldwing, the Silverwing scooter and the Burgman 650. While I liked all of those bikes I'm still happy with my GT after two and a half years or so. I've got a ways to go to catch up with the 300,000+ miles I put on those GWs.
