Drove over to Americade yesterday got there a 12 pm, parked on the field at million dollar beach where the vendors are. I. Was very surprised at how few bikes where there on a sunny day. I would say there were about maybe 1000 bikes at most.
I did not go last year because the year before you could see the vendors where shrinking, also it seem it was getting to be more of a Harley rally. Granted Harley is the most popular bike in the US but the metric bikes are a substantial group of bikes. As I walked through the vendor area there was hardly any metric bike dealer oriented booths. I stayed about 1 1/2 hours and left, as I walk back to the parking field a lot of bikes had left, I would say about 300 would be my guess. I remember about 5 to 6 years ago the parking field would have about 5 to 6 thousand bike the whole field would be completely filled. My thoughts are the vendors set up at americade for the rally at Laconia NH next week, and the warrenburg rally 9 miles up Rt 9 probably doesn't help and the Fourm being closed now for the last 4 years also doesn't help and the RoaringRanch where you try out the bikes from the different motorcycles company's is no more, they are now down the road relocated.I know things change but in my opinion they have not changed for the good at Americade.
