An LED bulb that seals?

The dust (obviously) caps won't fit. I have a similar set on my workbench. Otherwise they will probably be ok. I don't know how big an issue getting dust/dirt inside the headlight bucket will be. I bought a pair of these: https://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Housing-Headlight-Conversion-Retrofit/dp/B073QNQ5H6?th=1
but they didn't work 100% as planned so this project is on my back burner pending a time when I can take things apart a little more.

This cover solves the problem I ran into for stashing the wire and connector: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076Q9D52Z/ref=crt_ewc_img_huc_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A63AVRRFM3OU2

I ordered them (just now, thanks for waking me up on this) and we'll see. I don't think water/dust/dirt will be an issue for the electronics.

Ok..cool.

The traditional LED sets, with the heat sinks out back...

How much room is there behind the assy for the sinks?

There was plenty of space behind the headlamp bucket for the LEDS it was just a matter of covering it and accommodating the extra cable that was bothering me. I think that if the power consumption of the LED is close to that of the halogen, the lamp monitor will be satisfied.
