Anyone else happy with their BMW C Sport?

Recently I see a whole lot of posts from unhappy customers complaining about BMW lack of this or unreliable that and touting the marvels of other makes.

Well, My 2013 C600 sport (why they called it 600 when it has the same engine as the 650 GT, I'll never figure out) has 7000 miles, new tires and is still going strong with a replaced BMW battery for a Li-ion battery (no more battery tender, yay!). It does exactly what I wanted it for, it handles 30 mph crosswinds going across a local freeway bridge, it looks great with that cool blue and matching top box, and I get all sorts of "nice bike" comments. Holds a 12 pack of beer and groceries (which is what I use it for mostly-to and from the market).

Anyway, I just wanted to put in my 2cents to help counteract the nay sayers.

Hi! Well I love my 2017 GT if it count, and I also get all sorts of "nice bike" comments.

Almost 38K miles on my 2013 GT. No major problems. I like it a lot more after riding a Moto Guzzi 1200 adventure style bike as a loaner for an oil change and kick stand maintenance.

Nice to hear.

I'm on my second C600 Sport and have enjoyed both of them. I've had zero issues with either and have accomplished exactly what I wanted which was to help me navigate NYC and then Boston quicker than in a car, keep the miles low on my car with a bump in gas mileage and provide a bit of fun factor to my commute with the added benefit of a little weekend fun.

Curious, why did you replace the first one with another?

Hey Thom,

Here's a thread from a few years ago before all the new fancy pants BMW upgrades and adjustments to the latest versions.....
