C650GT Rear Topbox 'squeeky' while riding...loose?

I'm a relatively new owner of a '15 GT with only 8K miles on it. The PO had the dealership mount the matching BMW topbox which looks nice and functions fine but while riding the bike makes very obvious rattling/squeeky noise. I have remved the box abd gone for a ride and sound is gone. I started by tightening bolts in an effort to elimate the noise but that didn't do the trick. I found an old article on WebBikeWorld where the they said there was a recall in Canada for the bolts. Has anyone else encoiuntered this problem and discovered a fix?

Editor’s Note: BMW scooter owners who purchased the BMW luggage rack and top case should check the bolts holding the luggage rack.

The BMW recall apparently involves adding longer screws with nuts and Loctite to ensure that the bolts remain in place.

Back in the day there was a recall, I think the problem was the people that installed there own did not slide the provided washers used as spacers. Then the bolts would not sit flat. I think then the dealers put washers in then a drop of lock tight. I would think then everything would rattle if not done right
