Eliminating the traction control

Hi everone

Ok so all know it's not really a traction control, so how can I eliminate it?

I've heard something about removing the ABS fuse, so would that do it?

And probably that would also eliminate the rear AND front ABS?

Anyone here done it?

Cheers

My thought too. After riding a TMAX that didn't have it, I'm THANKFUL for the ABS on the BMW Scoots. It was waaaay too easy to lock up the rear wheel on the TMAX, and considering the number of times I've felt the ABS intervene on the rear brake of the C650GT, I'd say I'd be doing the same thing on that scooter too.

I have seen on the Italian website, they put a switch on one wire coming from the rear ABS sensor. they can switch it in and off when ever they like is what it
reported. The report that they do get the ABS sensor flashing when they do this.
FINALLY traction control switched off

The traction control measures the front and rear wheel rotation and when it sees the rear wheel a percentage faster, it reduces engine power.
I think that would work, considering when I put the Bike on the dyno and the front wheel is still and the rear is spinning we are measuring increases with the
additions to power we do. If I were to race, I would defeat it.

Our scooters don't have traction control. If they did, my trip across a wet, grassy field this past summer would've been a LOT less exciting.

That's awesome, but the guy isn't showing us how to do it :(

I did try taking out the ABS fuse, it did eliminate the ABS but had no effect on the traction control...

Why do you want to defeat the abs don't you value your life, it has saved my ass twice already with people pulling out in front of me.
