hello
has anyone any knowledge of being able to make a decent front mudguard extender on a 3d printer? cant seem to find an aftermarket one and not really prepared to go filing out the mounting holes to try and make the suzuki bergman one fit . there must be some one out there with a 3d printer and the skill?

Sounds like an interesting challenge. Is there an OEM one that could be copied? What do you reckon it would have to be made from? ABS (which I can't do), thermoplastic polyurethane (which I can do)

Hi mike,
sorry to late reply. he has made a prototype but because the 3d printer could not start in "mid air" he had to make 2 pieces and then glue using the super glue and bicarbonate of soda trick. Its quite substantial in that its heavy but it has the lip to fit under the existing fender and use expanding plugs or some self tappers to secure it. It may be a bit short but anything is better than nothing and getting the radiator full of crud!
only problem is I cant offer it up at this time as the forks are out and being rechromed so i will have to wait to check but can let you know when its on?
