Got locked out of my scooter

Same thing happened to me. Luckily the keys were in a bag and the bag was close to the top. I held the seat up with one had and slid my hand under the seat, unzipped the bag and pulled out the keys. It was very painful because the space I had to slide my hand under the seat was very small. My wrists were sore for the next 2 days. Good luck.

Seems like if you could visualize where the lock lever is from a picture you could bend a wire, get under the seal and pull it open.

Hmmmh, thank you! - a good idea, have to take a look. I am using a fine fishing line on my under-seat release hook on my 1150GS. Must see if I can do similarly on my 650 Sport ... shall report back

This happened to me in the first month I owned the GT. I had a friend pick me up. Since that time I strapped a spare key under the plastic. I also added a wire to the lock release.
Bag with keys underseat... any ideas.

Away from home and second keys
