hello everybody, this is my first post, I've already introduce myself in right forum's section.
I want to install my GPS in the C650GT. I know there's a lot of posts here about gps installation, I think I've read it all (spend 2 hours on that), but I can't find any solution that's really like me at all.
My idea is to mount the GPS at the left of the instrument cluster, creating one adaptor for that task. I'm not sure yet how can I do that, but if I can make it I will let you know.

my problem is: how should I pass the 12V power cable from the 12V inside the left glove compartment to the dashboard?
should I remove the front left panel of the scooter, and what's more? any pictures of this? any instructions? suggestions?
remember, the final idea is: I need to get 12V usb cable right at the left of the dashboard.
any comments will be useful. thanks in advance for your support,

As far as the mount itself, it probably depends on the GPS you are going to use and what mount options they have. The video appears to show use of a L-bracket bolted into the dash or panel. You might also use a rectangular or round RAM mount base as the Garmin/BMW motorcycle GPS mounts can be attached to RAM mounts and this would allow use of different arms and the ability to adjust position and angle of GPS in this location.

For power, you could probably remove the left panel and access the leads going into the power socket in the glove box, use some posi-taps to connect an external power socket such as this:

Or run a similar cable direct to battery, but then the power will always be on and you risk running the battery down.

The Garmin GPS cradle has a direct connect for a 12V source so unless you wanted a second USB power port or specifically needed a USB power port you could just connect this into the power outlet in glove box. For that matter, you can just use the connector designed for the OEM GPS mount and run the cable to the location you want it at. Just be sure to use the same route as other cables that run to the handlebar and allow some slack as you don't want to cause bindning when the handlebars move.

As I recall there is some room to work with around here and you can verify by removal of the left front panel and see what areas you could easily access. I don't have any photos from when I did some modifications to mine, but they are on WebBikeWorld and there are only 5 torx bolts to remove and a couple clips to work with to remove that panel.

There is a BMW accessory cable that connects to this plug and it is an unusual one, part number 61128544442 (cost around $20), used for the BMW satnav. Just remove the plug from the other end to connect to your satnav. Pin 1 is ground with brown wire, pin 2 is 12v yellow wire. Pin 3 green & white stripe is also earth. These are switched with the ignition with a delayed start and delayed end. The pins and cable are very small gauge.
I have used this cable to switch a power hub for my LED spots.
I wired my Garmin cradle directly to the battery and do not mind it always being live as I replace the satnav unit with the cradle cover whenever I leave the bike unattended. The BMW mount fits over the centre handle bar cover and connects to the handlebars. The mount is very solid up & down but not so good torsionally and vibrates more than I expected. The Garmin cables run through the modified centre cover and can be threaded using a cane to just above the battery for easy connection.

I don't have a photo of the plug handy, but if you remove the center cover for the handlebars it will be wire tied to the bar underneath. As I recall there is a cap on the plug for protection when not used. You should be able to remove this cover by removing the torx bolt at the back of this cover near the dash. Very easy to get to.

This is the connector you need to get to use the plug. If you Google BMW Motorcycle Nav or Navigation plug or power plug you can get lots of images and info as this plug seems to be common on BMW motorcycles just different models have plugs in different locations.
