Heating Buttons and Dash Reversed

It's a small thing but I noticed I was looking at the dash and pressing the wrong buttons on the handlebars for my heated grips and seat. Then I noticed the order on the grip vs. dash were reversed. Wonder why... Was mine put together wrong? Maybe I can switch them.

I would rather have the grip switch toward the rear where it's easier to reach with one's hand on the throttle. I don't use the seat heat near as much so it wouldn't be a problem to have it in the front. Let us know if you can reverse their positions, sounds like a good idea to me.

Your answer may be the solution here. A picture is worth a paragraph. My grip switch is on top. Perhaps it got mixed up along the line.

Could be done with the wiring pretty easily. But, I don't see it as a problem, so I won't do the modification.
If you do open this up, be careful the wires are very small gauge.

I just leave them both in "Auto" mode...
I tend to do the same though don't use the seat heat very much. One of these days, once the need for them are gone for the year, I'll look into the possibility of reversing the position of the grip and seat switches.

TwoPort, I think you might have misread the my post above. The picture is the same as mine.

Are the switches the replacement or the original switches that are being replaced under warranty. (there is a replacement) if you are out of warranty like mine and it bugs you just remove the unit off the bar pop the guts out and the caps can be swapped

"Auto" mode doesn't cut it for me. I have Reynauds and tried auto, but it didn't get warm enough to help.

OP problem is odd and quirky, but IMO is not worth fixing (unless under warranty). Just remember which is which.
