Hello, my name is Phil. I'm 65 and I've been riding bikes for years but got into scooters seriously about 6 years ago. I started with a Honda CH80 to use as a lifeboat behind my RV then bought a Helix Clone that turned out to be an electrical nightmare. I sold both of them to finance my next scooter I ended up with a Piaggio BV250 which I dearly loved. With its 16" wheels it rode like a small motorcycle, was very agile and quick up to about 55 miles per hour. I rode it about every day until I lost it along with the majority of my belongings in a flood last August. I replaced it in September with a 2007 Burgman AN400. It is a very different scooter than my Piaggio. The Burgman is more of a touring bike, slower off the line but comfortable and quite at home at highway speeds all day. I have long admired the BMW C600 and decided I'd come over here and see what owners have to say.

Welcome!
I'm not far from you. Bossier City.
I got my GT650 last year after 40 plus years of motorcycles of all types. It's the best one I've rode by far.

The smaller scooters are a hoot to ride around town for sure. If touring is also on your agenda, you can't go wrong with either of the BMW C bikes.
