I did a search. Didn’t turn up anything about the 400 GT with high mileage. Asking what mileage and or issues you’ve had if any. Thanks for any replies. I

Not the high-mileage part, but I certainly did have an issue.

I took delivery of a brand new C 400 GT in early June 2022, studiously followed the break-in procedure, had that break-in service performed at the selling BMW dealership, stopped riding it for the season here in the northeast USA in early November 2022, and resumed riding it in early April 2023, shortly after having its regular service, along with new tires, performed at that same dealership.

In early May 2023, after 5,600 miles, the bike developed a serious engine problem. I originally guessed wrong about what was the problem, but my guesses don't matter, anyway, as I stopped riding it that same day, and had the dealership take the bike away in a van. You may want to read just my first and last post in the thread https://www.bmw-scooters.com/index.php?threads/c-400-gt-it-appears-that-i-have-a-coolant-leak.2722/ .

The bad news:

- The bike is still at the dealership.

The good news:

- I have not heard of or read about any other C 400 GT experiencing a major problem.

- In July 2023 I rode a C 400 X -- the same bike, in all but cosmetics -- in the Alps for nine days, and it reaffirmed just how much I enjoy its pep, weather protection, ergonomics, and, especially, cornering prowess; see https://billanddot.com/Ultimate-Alps-Tour/ .

- Also in July, I bought a brand new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (https://billanddot.com/Meteor350/); while I wouldn't want to ride this all day on a high-speed superslab to visit my daughter 800+ miles away, it is proving to be an absofreakinlutely delightful back-roads machine, and so is most assuredly tiding me over in the absence of my scooter.

I own a 2019 C400GT with about 33,000km or 21,600 miles on it.

Here’s a list of recalls/issues
- brake pins corroding
- stalling
- engine vibration
- possible accelerator cable freezing from water
- seat latch issues

A few problems but nothing substantial considering its gen 1. Dealership handled issues quickly and professionally
