How many keys come with the ce04?

Was thinking it was two. I have one normal key plus a plastic key though they are not keyed the same. Seems maybe I had the dealer use my plastic key to key it to the bmw trunk yet my normal key for the bike will not open the trunk.

Normally the plastic one is a back up that you apply below the ignition bouton, to open the trunk you need to push the ignition first then is unlock the trunk.

Seems I got the wrong plastic key. If held 1” below start button and pressed on the front middle plastic bike will not turn on. They are ordering me a new key. Trunk does not need bike to be turned on to unlock it.

Dealer sent me the correct plastic key. Next issue maybe that my local dealer used the prior plastic key to code my bmw trunk and the guy at the service desk says it might be a nightmare to take the inner shell off the trunk top lid to remove the key cylinder since when put back together it may not function correctly...latch etc. I have emailed the original dealer I purchased the bike from to express my displeasure about the situation. Plus now I have only one key for the trunk now so i expect that dealer to do something to make this right...at least send another blank plastic key though guessing they come coded from bmw.

Strange...or not. I got the bmw varo (spelled wrong) trunk. At some point, I did have an extra key cylinder but not a clue where it came from. Don't know if for some strange reason, bmw gives a spare cylinder with a scooter purchase (if so why lol).

It's a cylinder to lock the carry on box, in case you decide to buy a box to put in the back of the bike.

When I first bought the scooter, I got 'two' keys

Needless to say, the second key is just to get you out of trouble but not a real key...

So after waiting three weeks, I have an actual key!

Next on my list is to order the alarm... Drives me crazy to have a button in the key that does nothing....
