It was loaded at the 600 mile service as a required, and very lengthly, update. Yes, to the best of my recollection it was right at 1400 RPM. I think we are RVP9 year round here, just different summer blends year round. Miami and the Keys are different. I’m going off memory and could be typing out of my hindside.
This is all very weird, looking like one of life's little mysteries so far.
1) Maybe 090 is not yet available in the USA. I mean, you and I have 060 -- mine as delivered in Oct., and yours as updated (sometime before that?) -- and
@dimatrixxx (from Spain) has 090. And recall that my first service was just in December, and nothing about an update on the receipt.
2) Since I was, and still am, in the break-in period, for the couple of rides I got in -- delivered on Oct. 19, last ride of the season on Nov. 7 -- I had the display set to Urban, so I could be mindful of the RPMs.
(It still bothers me, and I commented in one survey a month or so ago, that you can see the RPMs only on the Urban screen. Why they can't put that info also on the My Vehicle screen, and remove the silly picture of the bike, is beyond me.)
The break-in service, to refresh anyone's memory, is specified in the owner's manual as between 300 - 750 miles, while the engine is supposed to be kept under 7,000 RPM until 621 miles. I have 438 miles, so, yep, I was paying attention to the tach the whole time so far. And that's why I noted to myself that, yep, when warmed up the '23 is doing the same 14/15 flip-flop at idle that my '22 did for its entire 5,644-mile life.
