So went to the bmw dealer in san siego ca last friday to do my service and asked there most knowledgeable service guy why bmw hasnt figured out a led headlight replacement bulb that fits the scooters and doesnt throw a canbus code. He tells me that cyclops adventure sports makes a H7 bulb that is plug and play for bmw, its much brighter, uses less power and might fit because of the fan assembly on the back of the led bulb and the limited space behind the headlight assembly and the forks. So after an extra hour of test fiting and installation for the led's on top of the service time I have led headlights. There a little pricey but nothing like the darla's. I can tell you that 4000 lumens per bulb is literally day and night (no pun intended) compared to the 900 lumen incandescents when riding in the dark. Its definitely the way the bike should have been built originally. I will try to get some pics posted as soon as I can on the brightness. I'm super excited because I wanted the bright light coming from where it should be coming from and not near the ground or trying to figure out the best place to mount aux lighting some where around the bike.
