LED lights

Met a very interesting guy working in a Motorrad dealership not far from here in Toronto who has his own company selling LED lights that don't screw with BMW electrics (CAN BUS). Anyway his website shows only the turn signal lights but he does have an H7 replacement now and website will be updated shortly.

I tried a couple replacements and either they were too big to fit and we're not bright enough

I thought LED headlights were already beaten to death on this forum? The upshot being that unless your vehicle was designed from scratch for LED headlights, don't use them. NONE of the "Drop in replacement" bulbs are approved for use, and (in the US anyway) aren't even legal.

Directional and marker lights are a different story and shouldn't be a problem as long as they have the right "resistance" for the CANBUS. If they don't, then they won't work either.

I understand resistance is correct to make them truly drop in. Have asked about H7 myself as they were installed in a bunch of 1200GS bikes sold at dealership.

I got resistors to avoid canbus errors. They get stupid hot which I don't like as placement is an issue. Even though it "worked" getting LED clusters that fit and are bright enough was something I never resolved.
