BMW Maintenance Schedule
This is your 600 and 6000 mile inspection
As for the oil it is important that you use the 15w50 sj ma2 oil they recommend as the sj oil will not hurt your cataletic converter. This oil is only available from bmw (not cheap). I have found other brands but they are not cheap either so I decided for the extra couple of bucks I will stick with BMW so I do not void warranty.
