Mt TomTom rider 2ed mount on my 2013 c650gt

I recently bought a second hand TomTom rider 2ed which I wanted to mount without drilling drilling any extra holes or buying other mounts to accommodate it. I wanted to use the RAM mount equipment supplied with the TomTom, so here is what I did.
I've included a basic sketch and photos.
I've been on an 8.5 hour trip with it and it worked perfectly with hardly any vibration. I attached a rubber pad beneath the RAM mount coupling/extension, secured with a zip tie to avoid possible rubbing of the paint on the plastic BMW handlebar cover.
