New from Holland

Hi
I just bought me a 2012 650 GT, with just 3500 km on it. I bought it at a dealer. It replaces an RT from 2005 with 100k km on it, which had on going trouble with the brakes.
I use the bike to commute, 67 km one way. So I ride 25.000 every year.

My other bike is a 2015 K1600 GT, bought this january. So far it has 23k km on it. The wife rides an R1200R.
I do not own a car, but we do have a camper which we use if we need 4 wheels, like for diving.

Been using the scooter for a week now. While it is powerful and fun to ride, I do have some remarks. The tank is a bit small, making me stop for gas three times a week and the saddle is a bit small.
Also the rear tire throws up a lot of mud even to the handle of the top case. Except for an overpriced carbon hugger, I did not find a suitable solution for this.

Hey sphy, glad you signed on. Get on the member map so you can be the second one from the Netherlands. The solution for the mud is a simple one. (I know you don't need me to say it.;).)

25km/yr is a pretty fair number. It will be interesting to hear what you think as you put more time on your CGT.
