Hi, old scooter boy from Worcestershire, England.
I have my 1990 Vespa PX200 with a 210 Malossi kit
I have my 2001 BMW C1 200 Executive, which I may be selling as I now have added my:
BMW C600 Sport (2012) which I am sure I will be bugging you all about little things that you have probably answered a million times already.

New 2015 C650GT owner here in the great state of Idaho! I've owned three scooters now and slowly grew in displacement each time. Thought a Honda Forza would be enough but the Beemer 650 is the best fit!

His/him from Melbourne, Australia.
Had following scooters over 20 years of riding:
Kymco Agility 125 (stock) —> Kymco Downtown 300i ABS (Malossi Xhaust, J.Costa Evo3) —> Yamaha IronMax 530 (SC-Project exhaust, J.Costa PRO, Öhlins Rear) —> BMW C650 Sport (GPR Furore exhaust, J.Costa PRO, Dr.Pulley hiT clutch)
Motorbike experiences included Victory Jackpot and Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro, both sold. Tried Aprilia SRV850 but it is a porky unweildy beast keen on track use, WTF.
Long live CVT, and bring on that Victory Vision 800 concept to life someone please, so I have an upgrade path when done with C650s.

Hi I'm Andy from Valdosta Ga. Bought a CE 04 last month in Nashville TN as I transition to scooters because my arthritis limits my ability to keep my feet beside me. Loving the Avantgarde model.

Great Andy, same problems. I find it really difficult to get out of the habit of changing gears my foot still goes up and down when I am coming to a stop. All the best.

New CE 04 owner here. I reside near Charlotte, in North Carolina. I am enjoying the new scooter but am finding that I have some “range anxiety” on occasion plus people parking regular or electric vehicles at charging columns not plugged in, &c. Bought a 40 amp “TeslaTap” and a NEMA 14-50 adapter so I have options for charging as well as a J plug. It certainly is a learning curve but for what I bought the scooter for, it is fine. I haven’t run out of juice - yet!

Are you in luck!

There's a member here, @triangletom, who:

1) Is only a couple of hours away from you (see https://www.bmw-scooters.com/index.php?members/triangletom.2382/#about ).

2) Has a CE-04.

3) Is extremely knowledgeable about charging (and probably all other aspects of that scoot); see, for instance, https://www.bmw-scooters.com/index.php?threads/charging-basics-101.2856/#post-24401

4) Has, in my opinion, pushed the limits of patience (of which he seems to have a limitless supply) and range of that EV; see, for instance, his lengthy trip reports, such as this one: https://www.bmw-scooters.com/index.php?threads/ride-report-in-search-of-native-lands-3-days-nc.2790/

I think you should get in touch with him, and tap his brain about all things CE-04.

Hi to everyone, I am Mike. and 56 years old. I reside in the Center of Europe. In August I#ve got a CE 04 and i am in love with it. :)
I use it in the urban area and commuting. Long distance riding is not intended, maybe when I have retired :-D. Regards, Mike

You mean there is a second CE-04 owner in North Carolina? That's fantastic news! Welcome to the land of the crazy scooter people.

IMHO, the TeslaTap is a critical accessory for the CE-04. I've found that North Carolina is a surprisingly decent place to get around with a short-range EV (thanks to state grants & PlugShare), but I agree - the range anxiety detracts from the fun of riding. Hi all; Mike G. 69 yers old. Wisconsin. I started riding when I was in my 20's, but gave it up for a long time because I didn't feel that I was mature enough.
In my early 40's I rented a couple scooters in Key West and loved riding them around. I have been riding ever scince. Picked up a 2023 BMW C400GT yesterday and finally put 40 miles on it today. Really enjoying it so far.

Vespa 150 cc
Vespa 250 GT
Vespa 300 GT
Piaggio 500 ( the early 2 wheel model 480cc)
Harley Davidson 750 street
2016 Indian Scout
2020 Indian Chalenger
and finally a BMW C400GT which might be my last bike.

OK i'll be 2nd, I'm Joe from SoCal. I should have my C650GT (black) Oct-22. I have had a Burgman 650 and ran it in the ground, I also have now a Vespa 300 great little scoot. I think this forum going to fun and well informed.

Thanks,
ibking, Joe
I'm Joel, also from SoCal.
In July I picked up a 2020 C650 GT with 354 miles on it. I live in Ventura County with my RT1250 but I keep my scooter at my house just north of Huntington Beach. Beach traffic and parking is a mess and the scooter is the perfect vehicle to ride and park. I'm going to get it's 600 mile service next time I'm down there.
