CC650GT

Hello all. Just brought home a 16 model GT. I've been on adventure bikes for years so this was a dramatic change. Looking forward to the experience and hope to contribute here.

I'm the mirror image. I've gone from a R1200 GS Watercooled to the 650GT. I loved the GS, but not practical for most of the urban riding I do. The GT is a fun tool to own and I'm sure we will have many miles together... GOOD LUCK!!

I own an 1983 Airhead, a F800GS, and the G650GT. The GT just makes more sense for commuting and local runs on a daily basis. I save my F800GS for the longer trips and the Southern Illinois and Missouri gravel rides. I bought my GT as an incentive to leave the cage at home, so I wanted the comfort of a touring bike I just didn't need a touring bike.
