Passenger Foot Pegs

My passenger is asking for an additional set of foot pegs for an alternate position that is a little higher. Seems like the best mount opportunity is the frame just below the seat. Looks like I could cut the plastic exterior for a perfect fit. I've looked at the Kuryakyn parts and I'm sure something will fit. I've thought about adding some highway pegs just to get my legs out a bit more in a relaxed position but it never rose to the "do it now" category.

Has anyone added additional foot pegs?

I also have briefly looked at this for my wife. Didn't look too hard but also didn't find a solution. I think floorboards insread of footpega for her would be great. Don't know what i would need though.

Kuryakyn has some good stuff. I've put their hiway pegs on three different Goldwings I've had and a BMW K1100LT. Their ERGO line is hard to beat. It seems to me that for a passenger it would be worthwhile to try some wood blocks on the passenger floorboards. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out a way to attach a block on each side. My making them out of 3/4 wood it would be easy to find the right height by adding a layer and having the back seater try different elevations of the blocks. It might be possible to screw the first 3/4" layer to the floorboard with a could screws and then use a couple screws to add each layer. That way even if you ended up with three layers of wood pads it would still be easy to remove them one layer at a time. The only snag to figure out would be to come up with a way to easily remove the left side pad so the oil can be checkeed and added.
