Permanent side stand extender

Does anyone know of a source of a permanent side stand extender that will fit my 2013 C 650 GT. I would like to get the bike to sit up a little straighter when parked, I rarely use the rear stand. Thanks for any source info. I see a lot of them offered on Amazon but can't find any that say they fit my bike

The only thing I've found is a "foot extender" that makes the foot wider instead of longer, good for southern asphalt but doesn't help the leg length. Also, check your kickstand mounting bolts, I and several on here have found them broken and bent on our bikes. I first replaced mine with grade 8 bolts, these broke quickly, the grade 5 bolts I have installed now are still in place and straight. My scoot is a 2013 also, I'm almost to the point now of fabricating something to attach to the foot to stand the bike on up, although I usually place the bike on the center stand when I park.

Not the product you asked for but maybe a creative alternative ....

I use two paving stones to create a parking pad. Cost me $10 each. The normal angle of the bike on the sidestand seems extreme. With the paving stones, the bike leans around 85%. I like that angle because it takes a lot of stress of the sidestand yet the bike has enough lean so you can't push it or knock it over. This only works at home, of course, since I'm not hauling paving stones around. But except for daily rides, the bike is home most of the time, on the side stand.

I don't think those will travel well......

Here is a better solution I have used on my 2017 C650 Turbo GT. I purchased a large foot extender that fits the BMW F700/800 motorcycle series after seeing the real thing in parking lots and at dealer. I was previously concerned about the tilt of the scooter, the foot extender purchased from ebay solved the problem 3 years ago. Simple install. Here are some photos.

Exactly what I have on my scoot, they make the foot bigger, but the leg is only extended by about 1/4 inch. The rib on the bottom and the larger foot print help with this Georgia hot asphalt, but the leg needs to be about 1 1/2 inches longer. Trying to gauge the lean from your pictures it looks like 1. your bike doesn't lean as much as mine, 2. your kick stand leg is straight (mine has a little bend in it).

Check your side stand is not bending.
There is no angle problem with a good stand.
And yet it's a common complaint with the earlier models, of the 25 to 30 Jap bikes I've owned only the very heavy VTX1800 leaned as far as this GT, and it was a bear to get upright if you didn't think about where you parked. A very close inspection of my kickstand makes me think the bend was placed during manufactor to position the foot lever for activation when the bike was built, not something that happened later. It's my plan to closely inspect the mounting points underneath the scoot next time I have it on the lift, see if the root cause is in the mounting area where the bolts were bent and broken. It's also possible the PO would just mount the bike while it was on the side stand (like I will do with it on the center stand), with everything else I found I wouldn't doubt it.

I have never noticed the lean angle on my 2016 Sport as being too 'steep' or somehow concerning in any way, so I suspect that there can be problems with bending of the foot due to too much weight being put on the bike when parked on the stand, or with the mounting.

I appreciate the reply's but hard to imagine someone has not come up with a simple fix, I will look closely at the mounting points but it doesn't seem sloppy or loose. I seldom use the center stand as it is a major effort for me and I am uncomfortable while I am balancing the bike standing on one foot.

Definitely check the mounting bolts. While it does normally lean on the side stand I was running errands and put the side stand down at one stop and the bike leaned much more than usual. I straightened the bike back up and was able to wiggle the stand a lot. Immediately rode to the dealership, put it on the center stand and got the service manager to look at the side stand. Of the three mounting bolts, one was broken, one was missing, and the third one was loose. After getting the bolts replaced I now always try to wiggle the side stand with my foot before leaning the bike onto it.
