here is something that puzzles me
when on the ford forums there are ford cust serv people on line and in contact with you
I suppose to stop real bad threads from running on but they seem to do a lot of good
they stay in contact with the people on the forums and work with the dealers
now I have never seen that here although that doesn't mean it doesn't happen just that I haven't seen it
so I sent bmw an email and they responded back that they are investigating and will contact me
we will see how this goes
on day 17 with no bike
again I love the bike don't take any of this the wrong way
just hard to believe there are no parts to be had in America
that's fricken bad planning
and ya the Indians are beautiful bikes, I don't have an extra 25k laying around not that I have an extra 7k either though

There are a couple of guys around here with stories of hard to get parts, one had to wait a month for a Suzuki rectifier for his bike and another that cannot get OEM spokes for his Suzuki wheel any where in NA so it's not just a BMW Motorrad thing, poor yes but not unusual.

after talking to bmw rep tue night and calling dealer on wed my parts came in magically
according to dealer they fixed the oil leak but heard no cam chain noise
they had the bike since june 27th and test drove and started it a bunch of times and never heard anything wrong
so I go pick it up start it and yup noise
go back inside and get the serv mgr who spend 5 mins getting tech to here it and buy the time they get there its gone
yyyyuuuupppp
so I tell him I have another bike now and I don't need it I would rather you keep it and fix it
nope theres nothing wrong with it go put miles on her
ok when it dynomites the motor we are gonna have a real long tolk about this
oh man it wont and if it does its under warrenty
fricken huh
im trying to have the bike in my hands and not yours so if I need a motor it will be yours for a real long time
so im gonna drive it and when it does some ons gonna buy it back
oh ya so I bought the Yamaha fz-07 holy frick I like torque
