Spring break riding; a little slice of Sierra National Forest and locals.

Today; April 9th, my wife and I went on the same road on our way to Bass Lake in the Sierra Nevada's.
Gearing up


TCX women's riding boots; just got them yesterday


A place called Miller's Landing;


We went in to warm up; I just wanted coffee but ended up with this somehow.


Is that a model or just the most handsome guy ever!


Not much water in the lake; you may have heard we are in a drought.


Time to head home;


Total miles: 95 round trip; getting just over 50 mpg now too.
My wife will be getting some Joe Rocket overpants tomorrow from revzilla then she will have all of her riding gear.

Great Pics! We rode through there on our Four Passes Tour last year, starting in Coursegold. I went to my son-in-law's wedding at Bass Lake!

Nice trip, nice that you wife is getting into it. Does she want her own bike yet?

No bike for her. She doesn't even like bicycling in bike lanes on the street.
