I would like to bring it to bring it to all forum members and contributors what this forum is for. This is for scooter enthusiasts and motorcycle riders. We are to bring our ideas together to improve the rides we ride on, exchange ideas for improvement and to invite all and make everyone welcome. When i first joined this forum over a year ago the moderator had photos posted of girls in scantily clad clothing. This was the worst thing I could see about this forum, I mentioned this to the moderator and he took it all off. Since that time we have had females join the forum and have since left. I like to hear their opinions also.
If I was a female I would be turned off because of some of the photos that are posted. I did not see them posting pictures of firemen hanging all over their scooters or making comments such as what I have seen posted.
We are mostly BMW scooter riders or owners. Show some class and leave this forum open for all to join in.
I may sound like a stick in the mud or somewhere else but get real.
I was a high school teacher I would love to have made comments but I had to keep comments to myself. If you have photos of scantily clad clothing to share send them in a personal messages to the ones that want to see them. The photos do not get posted very often so I believe it can be eliminated all together
Maybe, just maybe we can get females on this forum to stay

Freedom of speech, you have the right to say what you want. the females have the right to speak up as well.
but if the small amount of skin on this site offends and you do not watch ANY television programing or see any
advertising on billboards ect ect..... please feel free to continue your Quest for Puritan way of life. The rest of us
live in the real world where all is not as clean. If the photos were other than the girls (at a motorcycle show) showing
truley pornagraphic (full on nudity) then forget what I said.

Ain't humanity a B... well if youve heard the word before, you know; for those who havent, please feel free to ask...?

Ya gotta know submitting the above posting is going to draw some statments....

Everyone take a deep cleansing breath. This is just a scooter forum. :p

I have found this forum to be one of the most focused and respectful forums of which I have had the privilege of being a member. A little tongue in cheek humor is O.K. and no one is being mean spirited. If any female member has been offended let her step forward and let us know.

Exactly. The serious tone of the initial post was such that I expected to see a picture of a good looking gal (in blue) on a C600 show up in the next post by the same person. A Will Ferrell kind of thing.

Now, about my C650GT.........

It is not necessarily the picture it is the comments that are made about the picture, the comments are like you are 12 years old. If I was a female and saw the post and the comments you leave I would think you are a-holes.
As for females I don't think there are any left on this forum, I think they have left and may not return.

I personally have found the comments funny and not at all inappropriate. And being the father of five daughters tends to make me more sensitive than most to off color remarks about the fairer sex. But that is just me. Mean spirited comments raise my ire more so than a few observations about a pretty girl whose job it is to get attention.

Well, that would be probably a little too much for this site. But if your point is that there are other forums that are more extreme, I think you made your case.

I do not appreciate someone likening my comments to those of a 12 year old. I am a 67 year old, fairly accomplished professional and hold my personal communication standards to those of at least a 13-year old.:p

Ah, I miss living in thailand where my wife and 4 mistrises would read this and laugh....
My muslim friends in Singapore (muslim) also think it's funny, his first wife of 35 years wasn't so happy
but his 2nd wife (28yo Philipina muslim convert) loved it.
