TopCase lights???

Has anyone modified their top-case by adding lights that activate when the brakes are applied? Are kits available? I have the OEM BMW case and thin that this would be a great addition.

If anyone is aware of aftermarket kits please share. Thanks

I've got a brake light set up with my Givi top case on my Stella scooter. Givi sells cases with lights (brake/brake and signals) and light kits for some models of cases. I believe yours in a SHAD case - check with them.

I've often wondered what is the point of that big red lens on the top case. It doesn't reflect ANYTHING (same was true for the lenses on the GIVI topcase I had on my TMAX). I guess it makes sense that there would be a light kit. Someone here placed reflective tape BEHIND the lenses and it made a HUGE difference for night time visibility. I mean to try that myself.

The top case on my Vespa was the same way. I read a suggestion on the Modern Vespa forum exactly what you're saying about the reflective tape. I ordered a couple of sheets of super high quality silver reflective tape specifically intended for marine/nautical use which I cut and placed under the "reflectors". The results were amazing to say the least.

Try "admore lighting" they do all sorts of light kits
