I have not been here in a while had covid. Anyway has anyone put a trike conversion kit on their BMW 650's I did a search
on here and there was none. I am thinking about getting it done to my C 650. I know the fuel mileage will go down cuz of
the weight. On the Honda silverwings they have them and they look sharp. I have also read on that group that they would
cost around $3.500 bucks give or take. If you have a trike set up on your bike how do you like it? The good and the
bad about the trike kit.

A quick Web search for "C650GT trike" gives

If you want a trike, get a trike. The Rykers made by can am have either a 600 or 900 cc engine, cvt transmission. People seem to like em. When they came out they were around 8-9 grand for the 600 and maybe 9-10 for the 900 variants. Of course Covid has driven those prices out of reason, but by the time you add in the cost of a kit for a BMW (and I have never seen one but who knows) you will probably be at that price point with what you have in your bike. But at least you would have one that drives well, not half @$$ed like a conversion.

Or you could go for one of the larger Spyders, some of the older models are now over 10 years old and the current prices seem to hover near 7 or 8 grand for an RS or GS. RT's are a bit more, but they are better loaded with things like Semi auto transmission, power windscreen, heated grips, cruise control and lots of storage. I have a 2010 RT and its a nice bike, though I still like riding the c650 more. These bikes are engineered from the ground up for 3 wheels, and if you want a trike, they are probably the best choice out there.

These trike conversion kits are expensive training wheels. I've seen some that actually replace the rear wheel and power the outside wheels, but not this one. So you add in all the weight of the extra wheels and frame but limit the ability of the bike to do much more than go in a straight line. And the cost of the kit is around 4-5 grand, not including installation, which is not usually a DIY project. And they are tough to sell if you are looking to get your money back, people generally don't want projects or heavily modified bikes.
