I had to leave early and unexpectadly (as you may remember from my text) but was also surprised there was no Beemer scooters there. BTW...Did you have your Zero at that point or did a test drive at the rally convince you?

Note to Kim...Can you provide a little more of what you liked/disliked about the Spyder? How long was your test drive? Have you tried a HD trike? BTW...If you are interested, let me know if you want to try my Kymco GT300i. I have been unable to ride for a little while (knee surgery this past Monday), and it might need some attention.
...I'm going to wait for this bike to again try out the trike concept. http://newatlas.com/yamahas-850cc-sports-three-wheeler-mwt-9/40092/ Yamaha has said it will be produced in 2018.
I decided that IF I ever decide to go three wheels, it'll be a Ural.
The Ural is interesting looking but only good for riding if you're not in a hurry. That's a lot of bike to move with a 750cc 42hp. It's amazing how difficult it is to find performance figures for that bike, quarter mile times and speeds, top speed, 0-60mph, none of it is easily available.
Does BMW WANT to sell scooters in this country? Sure seems like they're intentionally shooting themselves in the foot.
I don't really think they do. Very few dealer stock them, and it seems from reports on forums that dealers aren't exactly happy to take them back on trade. Sort of makes me worried about repair due to lack of knowledge.
It takes me about 1.5-2 hours to travel 7kms from office to home on a bad day (i.e., Friday night, pay day and it's raining). Some have it worse.
