Which model do you own?

Seems like most of the C series owners chose the GT over the Sport. It must be the larger underseat and the pushbutton windscreen.

I think there has been a previously established market for touring maxi-scooters, e.g. Honda Silverwing, Burgman 400 & 650. The only other "sport" maxi-scooters are the Yamaha T-Max and the Gilera (now Aprilia) 800/850 - neither of which is sold in the U.S. The 650 GT is a natural evolution of this maxi-scooter touring market segment whereas the sport scooter is a relatively new segment. Interesting enough, my local dealer sells every Sport it can get and couldn't give a T-Max away years ago.

I just came back from Paris, France after spending few days there. I particularly tried to see if I can spot BMW 650GT scooters and to my surprise I couldnt spot one. As for Suziki Burgmans, I could spot hundreds during my stay there. I am a BMW 650GT owner since June and It makes me wonder if the BMW scooter is a flop in France.

I saw one GT in Florence this last Spring. It was parked in front of our hotel next to several Ferraris. There must be industry sales figures somewhere.

I don't think the BMW's are a flop they have only been out for a year and half the Burgman has been around for 9 years+ and the beemers are a German and the French are still pissed off at them.
