The post back in November:

Selling the Beemer...

The C650GT was probably the best scooter I've ever owned. Good power and handling, lots of tech (+and -), good build quality.,
Unfortunately, BMW's handling of issues is disappointing at best. Really couldn't figure who was worse, corporate or just the dealer.

As other people have stated, the dealer can make or break the brand. My "dealer" sells both Triumph and BMW and I've both. If it wasn't for the forums, I'd be up the creek. My only other option was to go to the next closest dealer, 120 miles one way...

Today:

I had the bike on consignment at our local shop that I do some I.T. work for. A Suzuki / Yamaha shop that sells a fair amount of scooters due to our older population. They advertise locally, PSN, website, Cycletrader, and a bit on Craigslist. In 90 days on the floor, one bite and one test ride. I realize this time of year, but I was surprised with that little interest. I sold the Kaw Versys and decided to keep the BMW for road work. Probably going to buy a new Yamaha S-Max for in-town and lazy rides in the countryside.

Went to my lovely BMW dealer yesterday and asked him to order all the parts for the 3 open recalls on the unit. Wish me luck!

I'm lucky in dealers, we have a very good dealer here. Much better than the Honda/Kawasaki dealer.
